General settings

Use the general settings to customize your ecommerce site.

  1. Click the "store" tab at the top of your site editor to access the store manager
  2. Click the "General settings" link.
  3. Customize your settings.
  4. Click "Ok" to save your changes.

Cart & currency

Store Currency

Enter the currency symbol that you want to show when customers are shopping at your store. By default the dollar symbol "$" is displayed in your shopping cart.

Shopping Cart Indicator

The shopping cart indicator is a small box that lets customers see how many items are in their shopping cart. You can choose to always show this box, only show it when customers have items in their cart or to disable it. Use the drop down list to change this setting.

Store policies

Display Privacy Policy

Enter your store privacy policy in this box and check the box to enable the display of your privacy policy. When customers are checking out, there is a link on the user account information page that will display your privacy policy.

Display Return Policy

Enter your store return policy in this box and check the box to enable the display of your return policy. The link to your return policy is displayed on the shipping selection page in the checkout process.

Category settings

Use the category settings to configure how product categories are displayed in your store product directory.

Sub-category layout

Choose a layout icon. You can select text only layouts or layouts that have a thumbnail image for categories.

Default category image

If choose a category layout that includes a graphic, you can set a default graphic to show for product categories for which you have not already setup an image.

Custom invoice header

Use the text editor to enter a custom invoice header. This header is displayed when you print invoices from the order manager. Use the custom invoice header to put your company information/logo on the top of the printable orders and invoices. Your header will be displayed when you choose the printable orders option or click the show invoice from the order detail page.

Shopping cart settings

The shopping cart settings page can be used to customize how your shopping cart works.

  1. Click the "store" tab at the top of your site editor to access the store manager.
  2. Click the "Shopping Cart Settings" link.
  3. Customize your settings.
  4. Click "Ok" to save your changes.

Cart settings

Add Quantity - Shopping cart setting

Displays an input box on the product that allows shoppers to set the quantity of items to order when adding a product to the shopping cart.

Add to cart button - Display the add to cart button on your store product pages.

By clicking the add to cart button, shoppers can bypass the product detail page and add the product directly to their cart. If the product requires the selection of options, the add to cart button will show the product detail page.

Buy Now button - Display buy now button on your store product pages.

By clicking the buy now button, shoppers can bypass the product detail page and shopping cart page and go directly to checkout. If the product requires options selection, the buy now button will show the product detail page.

Cart display

Show product image in cart - Displays a small image of the product in the shopping cart view.

Check this box to have a small product image appear in the shopping cart when an item is added. You can also set the width of the image.

Shopping Cart Message - Add a message

Enter your shopping cart message here. This message will appear on top of the shopping cart page.

Cart colors & buttons- change the header color, text colors and buttons of your shopping cart.

Click the "Colors & buttons" link. To change your shopping cart color, click the color that you want to change and select a new color from the popup window. To change your shopping cart buttons click "change button style" to select a new style for your buttons or click "upload your own buttons" to customize your shopping cart with your own graphics.

Checkout settings

The checkout settings page can be used to customize your site checkout pages.

  1. Click the "store" tab at the top of your site editor to access the store manager.
  2. Click the "Checkout Settings" link.
  3. Customize your settings.
  4. Click "Ok" to save your changes.

General

Hide Site Graphics During Checkout

When this option is checked, your site menu, title, and other graphics are not displayed during checkout. This can be help improve the speed of checkout by not requiring the customer to download a large number of graphics while in secure mode.

Login page

Disable return shopper account

When this option is set, users will not create an account which they can use to return to your store. They will be required to re-enter their information each time they buy something from you.

Account info page

User Information Checkout Message

Allows you to place a message on the user information screen.

Enable mailing list signup during checkout

Enable this if you wish to allow your customers to signup for your mailing list during checkout.

Shipping & payment info

Collect Additional Information

When this option is checked, users will be able to provide you with additional information on the shipping screen. Enter in the message you want your customer to see on the shipping screen.

Disable shipping calculations

Check this box if you do not ship your products. When this box is checked, no shipping method or address will be asked for during the checkout process.

Disable alternate shipping address

Check this box if you do not wish to allow your customer to specify a shipping address that differs from the credit card billing address.

Secure checkout page

Enable order amount enforcement

Enable this if you wish to enforce a minimum or maximum order amount that must be met before someone can complete the checkout. Enter 0 into either field to disable it (e.g., if you don't want a maximum order amount, leave it at 0). Do not enter currency symbols.

Show SSL security seal on checkout page

Check this option to display the SSL security seal on the checkout page. This seal verifies that the page is being displayed over a secure link.

Order complete

Checkout Complete Message

The checkout message is displayed on the order confirmation page after a user completes checkout.

Email notifications

Send New Order Notification

Select how you want to be notified when new orders are received at your site.

Send Customer Confirmation Email

Check this box to send an automated order details/confirmation email to your customers when new orders are received on your web site.
